The Quietest Thanksgiving

This was our quietest Thanksgiving in over 30 years.
Around the table it was me, the Mr. and the Sorority Girl. The Cape Cod Kid was in MA with his aunts, uncles, cousins and grandmother. He was responsible for driving her to the festivities.
Sorority Girl was most thankful that she was eating a meal that hadn't been previously frozen and warmed up in a microwave.

On the table it was Honey-baked ham ( a gift from Mr's boss), sweet potato casserole, green bean casserole, butternut squash.
Wine was Castle Rock Reserve Pinot Noir and Dessert was Triple Chocolate Peppermint Chip Brownies.

TV before the meal was the Macy's Parade because I am a parade geek and Legally Blonde-The Musical on MTV because I am a Broadway geek.
After-dinner activities were Mr on his laptop out on the patio, me cutting Christmas decorating ideas out of magazines for my visual journal/scrapbook and Sorority Girl working on her daily planner for Spring Semester. She has to keep track of classes, job, sorority (she is also the Housing Chair) and semi-new boyfriend. She's all about the organization. Then she studied for a BIG BIOLOGY test and did some other homework.

I started the day being really cranky about pain, computer and in-law issues, but it turned out OK.
