When The Kids Are Here

  •  I still call them "the kids" even though they are 22 and 25
  • The little treehouse apartment is very crowded
  • There are blankets and pillows on every surface of the place
  •  You ask random strangers to take a family photo at Downtown Disney
  • There are dinner table conversations about how it is skanky to give a girl something from Victoria's Secret, but it is perfectly acceptable to give her a gift card from the same store!
  • You watch Twas The Night Before Christmas and The Wiz
  • You watch You Tube videos of an Asian toddler singing Hey Jude and Star Wars Episode IV According To a 3 year old
  • You watch the Christmas episode of GLEE 3 times
  •  You drag Cape Cod Kid on a road trip to see Manatees
  • You drag Cape Cod Kid on a 2 mile walk
  • You drag Cape Cod Kid on a daily trip to the grocery store
  • There's too much food in the fridge
  • There's too much laundry in the hamper

  • There's TOO MUCH SUGAR!
  • There are not enough HUGS
  • When you wake up on Dec. 30, the house is too quiet!

Sorority Girl lives 40 min away, so she was in and out. Cape Cod Kid did more of a whirlwind fly by!

Cape Cod kid is a total cutie and your daughter is beautiful.
I want one of those moon pie thingies. They look super tasty. And I am jealous...I want to see the Manatees!

It looks like it has been a good visit. The photo of the four of you is great! You and Mr. Sunshine State are looking really fit and healthy.

What a great photo!

I make those cookies too--and I know mine are not sugar-free!

Isn't it great to have them back; even if it's not long enough?
