We decided not to go for the candlight, flowers, special dinner routine. That's not really "us". Our idea of romantic is to just spend a whole day together. It doesn't really matter what we're doing.
Our honeymoon was spent at DisneyWorld and Busch Gardens. Our 15th anniversary was the week of my Dad's funeral. For our 24th anniversary, we went to eat at a place called the British Beer Co, then we went fishing. Last year, we spent the day at the beach.
This year, these tickets came in our mail. The theme parks will occasionally reward Florida residents.
Not really. They were there for the media's first sneak peek at the new Harry Potter land they're building. If you would like to see all the details, check out the coverage from the Orlando Sentinel:
We did not eat them, Sam I Am.
We did ride the Seuss land trolley. And the Simpson's ride and Shrek 4D and Spiderman and Jurassic Park water adventure.
During Poseidon's Fury, there is a part when the lights go out and you are in COMPLETE darkness. I reached for Tom's arm and it was exactly where I expected it to be.
He's always right where I expect him to be. That's much more romantic than candlelight and flowers.

Sounds like fun! Happy Anniversary!!
I think a good time together is much more memorable than candlelight and flowers. Happy anniversary to you!
Congrats--that's awesome. What a milestone. We will be celebrating our 13th soon and people think that is a miracle! Sad but true.
PS, that Seuss ride looks like it would be fun times!
Awww....so sweet! Sounds like fun!
Happy anniversary!
I love Seuss Landing, but I think the Cat in the Hat ride is creepy.
I *cannot* wait for Harry Potter World to open.
Happy Anniversary! Sounds like a fun way to celebrate!
Happy Anniversary! Love the way that you guys always celebrate in a different way,
I didn't know about Harry Potter World. I might want to go back to Disney to see it!
Your final sentence is so sweet.
Happy Anniversary! 30 years is the big-time.
I love your spirit! Sounds like much more fun than eating an overpriced dinner in a dark restaurant wearing pantyhose and high heels. congratulations! We are only one year behind you.
That was so sweet. The Husband and I are just the same. We don't get much time together, so no matter what we do, it's always a date. Even if it's just groceries.
And who wouldn't want to spend their anniversary at an amusement park?! Roller coasters are the perfect metaphor for marriage.
