REALLY BIG DAY

WEDNESDAY-OCTOBER 29,2009 2:45PM

I WAS PROUD AND HONORED TO VOTE FOR BARACK OBAMA (I live in a state with early voting)

WEDNESDAY-OCTOBER 29,2009 3:45PM

I QUIT MY JOB AT POTTERY BARN (I think she had probably already fired me. My name had already been removed from the list of employees on the schedule board)

WEDNESDAY-OCTOBER 29,2009 5:12PM

MY MOM ARRIVED IN THE SUNSHINE STATE FOR 6 MONTHS. (We'll spend 2 days shopping and eating out, then leave Sat to take her down to her Tin Can Retirement Village)

Thanks for moving Florida in the right direction! I left before the Bush years (any of the Bushes anywhere, that is). I hope your mom enjoys her stay!

And CONGRATS on moving past the Pottery Barn. Can I make jokes about it now?

I'm sure PB will miss you after they figure out all the stuff they will have to do now that you aren't there. I hope you get more hours at your new place.

dear lmss - thanks for helping to destroy our country. now i have to pay more taxes just so lazy people like you, who can't even keep a job at pottery barn, can get free health insurance. since your savior will be elected tomorrow, i will have to shoulder the burden for both you and me. thanks a lot. i'm going to teach my future children not to bother with college and that they can quit a job whenever they disagree with the boss, because the government will take care of all their needs.

Holy cow, what a nasty person. Typical, though. Republicans excel at the negative waves.

Sorry about Pottery Barn, but I'm hopeful that this is a good thing for you!

And, sorry about the nasty troll who doesn't seem to understand what democracy means.

i'm the troll...and you're right. it was a bit nasty. i'm not going to apologize, but will try to explain myself with less direct attacks. this is definitely not a republican vs. democrat thing, or a misunderstanding of democracy. taking sides is the root of our problems. while i think bho is completely wrong for our country, mccain also leaves alot to be desired. my frustration comes from reading your posts here. you complain about money problems and not being able to afford your medicine, yet you quit your job at pb because of a disagreement with your boss? all of us disagree with our bosses at one time or another, but that's the way it goes. we work because we need the money, and sometimes you have deal with the negative. all i ask is that people take responsibility for their actions and not rely on the government to fix all our ills. Forgive me, but I believe you are an example of what we have lost that made america strong in first place; self-reliance. another famous democrat asked what you can do for your country, but it seems that question no longer applies in this day of self fulfillment to the detriment of others. by being born in the usa, you are one of a select few who had every opportunity to better yourself. but from reading your posts, it seems to me you chose to be taken care of, rather than stand on your own. and now the government, with my tax dollars, will fulfill that expectation for you. my apologies again; i realize this is getting personal, but i can't help it. bho will be elected today, and our country will be that much poorer for it.

Who ever this, what makes you think that you have the right to judge my mother or our family and the choices we make. So what if she decided to quit her job. You don't know the situation, back off. And NO ONE is taking care of us. I'm in college and I have absolutely no government loans or financial aid. We work hard at the jobs we have and we get by. Maybe you have more money than us or maybe you don't. By these 2 posts you have left here, we have something you do not have which I value so much more than money, which is tact and respect. These post have disgusted me. You judge our family when you have no idea who we are. All you know is what she writes every once in a while on a blog. This does not define us as people... I don't have anything else to say, I'm too angry.

The beautiful thing about this country is we get to vote for our choices and lmss made her choice. Because it isn't the same as your choice doesn't give you the right to judge her or her values. I know for a fact that she has never in all her years has never had any government assistance and is not looking for any now. What are you doing this Thanksgiving, because lmss is going to be helping out those less fortunate than her and doing something in her community rather than sit at home and stuff herself with Turkey. So Troll what are you doing thanksgiving, something good for yourself or your community. How dare you quote JFK and then attack someone who lives their life by those words. Sorry your candidate lost but guess what it is truly time for a change and your candidate wasn't it. And Sorority Girl your mother is very proud of you as obviously you are of her.
