Calling From Dial-Up Internet Land

THIS IS A TEST OF THE DIAL-UP INTERNET SYSTEM OF THE SUNSHINE REHABILITATION SERVICE!
HELLO OUT THERE!!

Mom is home and we are settling into a routine. Meals, laundry, exercises, meds.
In between, I make runs to pick up prescriptions and other medical supplies.

Every day involves phone calls to doctors, therapists and visiting nurses.
(I didn't realize visiting nurses do their rounds in jogging suits.)

Oxycontin and Oxycodone will snow the crap out of a senior citizen.

I would post a picture of the lovely plate of brownies that a neighbor brought when she visited.
They all got eaten before the camera was unpacked.

I'm compiling a list of all the old, dried up, expired stuff I'm digging out of her drawers and cupboards. It's like a freaking Museum Of The Sixties.

One last thought: NEW ENGLAND WEATHER SUCKS.
Little Miss SUNSHINE State needs SUNSHINE.

Here's hoping your mother's recovery will be relatively painless.

Be sure you photograph them all on your mother's staircase ala blackbird!
