This is Bossy. I have less pictures than I hoped for. I need a new camera.
I met Bossy the other night. She was more and less than what I thought she would be.
I LOVE www.iambossy.com. More than ice cream but less than Peanut M&M’s. I think the second time I read her blog I thought to myself, “When I grow up I want to be Bossy”.
Here’s the scenario. TGIFriday’s on a Friday night. I am sitting across the table from Bossy. I knew she was pretty from her pictures, but in person she is more beautiful. I thought she would be loud and boisterous, but she is less talkative and quieter than I expected. It’s more like she has thought out what she will say. Less like me, who has no editor between the brain and the mouth.
To my left is Miss Britt. She is a Chatty Cathy like me. Then Amy, who is Adam’s wife. Then Adam, who is Britt’s boss. Then Angie who is a cool Mom/teacher. On the other side of Bossy is Karl, who drove a long way to get there, then Maggie of the famous Wreck This Journal. Then Emily, another sweet Mom/teacher who got stuck next to the two Chatty Cathys.
There were Fried Green Beans, Red wine and Blue Ultimate Electric Lemonade, many pictures were taken.
It was too noisy to hear ourselves so Adam and Amy invited us to their super-cool house where we sat and talked until midnight. I had FINALLY been invited to sit at the table with the COOL PEOPLE. I am a blogger wannabe compared to them. I wish I had taken notes.
I hope it accomplished what Bossy hoped it would. She wanted it to be less like “Come and worship at the table of BOSSY” and more like “You Bloggers out there are ALL cool people and I think you should get to know each other in real life”.
If you are within driving distance from a Bossy Road Trip stop, I strongly urge you to go.
She brings cool people together. She gives the warmest HUGS.

You rank Peanut M&Ms higher than Bossy?
And why can't I be Britt's cool boss? :D
How nice that you had such a good time!
How cool for you! I bet everyone loved your awesome manicured hands, too!
I have had a long intimate relationship with peanut M&M's. I have only known Bossy for 2 days.
Miss Britt's boss is cool. Not scary at all.
Mmmm...peanut M&M's. I am a little jealous I didn't get to experience one of those famous Bossy hugs!
A great time had by all.
It was so great to meet you. I, too, am a "blogger wannabe" compared to these gurus!
Hi Miss Florida,
I hope that this doesn't double post. I must not have typed the letters correctly the first time! I found you through Emily-Good-Hair's blog. I'm glad to see that there is someone else out there that is not 30 years old, but still enjoys this blogging game!

I agree with your assessment of Bossy. I'm glad we were at a house and that we'd done a dry run before.
These women will be an important part of my life from now on. Bossy's warmth and geninuiness is like a a warm blanket.
