Countdown To Christmas-Day 1

Since I blew off NaBloPoMo this year, I thought I would do a post a day about Holiday stuff. Kind of like a Bloggy Advent Calendar.

Dec 1st....Let the HOLIDAY PRE-DECORATING HOUSECLEANING BEGIN!

Sorority Girl has a college friend (shhhh...potential boyfriend material) from out of town coming to visit this weekend, so  today is SPOT CLEAN THE RUGS day.

Sometime before Christmas we will probably replace the dining room rug.

I tested the lights on the light-up-candy-cane window decor. Yep, one set is burned out. Light replacement sounds like a Saturday afternoon project.

Tonight I am going out for dinner with my bestie Betsy. Italian food then going to the park. The museum takes their Tiffany window collection out and backlights them and the Bach Festival Society sings. It's a really nice way to start my Holiday spirit.

I'm thinking of doing Origami Christmas cards. I have already bought the paper. Somebody light a paper fire under my butt.
