We Interrupt This Love Story

We interrupt this Love Story for a few bulletins.

I was all set to write the SENIOR YEAR chapter of our Love Story but then I remembered that my pictures are in MY laptop with MY dead battery and MY 2 dead power cords.
I really want you to see our cute senior pictures and a PROM PICTURE (that's what color my dress was) that would make you spit a beverage out through your nose because IT WAS THE 70's!!

Because it is slow at my first job (Yay! PB) I decided to look for a second job. It's probably only a Holiday gig but I start this weekend at a store that sells BATH stuff and BODY things that smell good. If you like sensual fragrance, go try out the new BLACK AMETHYST. I'm really loving it.

THE SHERIFF'S process server BANGED, BANGED, BANGED

on our door Thursday morning to tell us that our *&%$#@& landlord hadn't paid his mortgage in 6 months and the bank is going to REPO his ass and we're thinking we'd better find a new place to live.

Did I mention that apartment hunting is quite depressing? Good thing I'm heavily medicated with the finest and most expensive anti-depressant/anti-anxiety med on the market.

14 years and 1 hour ago my Dad died. It was very sudden and none of us had a chance to say goodbye. I still miss him every single day. What I feel the most sad about is that he didn't get to see my kids grow up into the really great adults they are today. He would be so proud of them.

For many years, September 13 was the day that my heart would break all over again. The old scars would open up and hurt as much as they did that first day.

I haven't been to the cemetery in many years. He's not there. He's sitting by the Cape Cod Canal reading a book. He's sitting in the bleachers at a high school marching band competition. He's standing next to me when I am at some site made famous in US History. He's standing next to my Mom's hospital bed after surgery.

He is always on my mind and in my heart and today I remember him with a smile on my face.

That was a sweet tribute to your dad. I'm glad you can feel him in all those places.

Moving? You have to move? So Decatur GA isn't quite as sweet as Florida, but those Thanksgivings could prove to be more interesting if you moved on up here... I know. Dream on.

Imagine trying to explain this saying to a 3 year old -- "From your lips to God's ears!" It was a long car ride. XO
