Her allergies started off with hives and swollen eyes, and got worse. We have to carry an epi-pen now. It would probably be a good idea for your daughter to completely avoid shellfish --food allergies are unpredictable, and the next time could be a lot worse. There are cases where a person will have a bad reaction, no reaction the next time, and then full blown anaphylaxis the third time.
